2. How do I get to Hoi An?

The nearest airport is Da Nang International Airport, about 30 km (45 minutes by car) from Hoi An. All our Hoi An tours include airport transfers. Hue is about 3 hours away via the scenic Hai Van Pass.

3. How many days should I spend in Hoi An?

Two to three days is ideal: one day for the Ancient Town and the Japanese Covered Bridge, one day for My Son Sanctuary or a countryside bike ride, and time for the beach. See our Hoi An 1-day itinerary if you are short on time.

4. When is the best time to visit Hoi An?

February to April is the most pleasant: dry, sunny and not too hot. May to August is hot but great for the beach. September to December is the rainy season, when the Old Town can flood. Every full moon, the town turns off its lights for the Lantern Festival.
