Transfers: In circumstances where you or any member of your party is unable to travel (due to reasons such as illness, death, or jury service), we can transfer your booking to another individual who meets all holiday requirements, provided you notify us in writing within a reasonable timeframe before the departure date.
Other Changes: Should you wish to make alterations to your booking after our confirmation has been issued (e.g., changes to itineraries, hotels, or flight tickets), we will endeavor to accommodate your request, but cannot guarantee it. For group bookings, any changes must be authorized in writing by the lead name. Please note that certain changes may incur additional costs, which will be passed on to you. These expenses include fees charged by third-party suppliers such as airlines, cruise operators, or hotels.
Treatment of Changes by Suppliers: Some of our suppliers, especially airlines, may impose restrictions on name or date changes and may apply full or partial charges. Any such charges incurred by Vietnam Discovery Tourism & Trading Co., Ltd in modifying the booking will be passed on to the customer. This includes fees levied by third-party entities like airlines, cruise operators, or hotels, if applicable.
Vietnam Discovery Tourism & Trading Co., Ltd, being an inbound travel agency, doesn’t arrange insurance for clients. Instead, clients are advised to contact insurance companies in their country of residence. However, the agency can act as an intermediary between clients and their insurance providers. It’s strongly recommended that clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance from their country of origin. Insurance provided by Vietnam Discovery Tourism & Trading Co., Ltd does not cover instances where only hotel or flight bookings are made through the agency.
Should clients feel unsatisfied with any service provided by Vietnam Discovery Tourism & Trading Co., Ltd, they’re encouraged to notify their local tour guide or travel advisor to prevent similar issues during the trip. In case of a complaint or claim for compensation, clients must inform the company via email, regular mail, or facsimile within 15 days from the end of the tour. Relevant receipts and evidence must accompany the claim. Vietnam Discovery Tourism & Trading Co., Ltd will not entertain claims submitted later than 15 days after the tour’s completion.

Vietnam Discovery Tourism & Trading Co., Ltd provides tour information and bookings, sourcing data from quality hotels, airlines, and tour operators. However, they disclaim responsibility for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in information provided by third-party providers.
The company is not liable for wrongful, negligent, or fraudulent acts, changes to itineraries, cancellations, or equipment failures by suppliers not directly owned or controlled by Vietnam Discovery Tourism & Trading Co., Ltd.
They are not responsible for loss, injury, or damage to persons or property caused by factors beyond their control, such as weather conditions, government actions, wars, civil disturbances, epidemics, or terrorist activities. Clients are advised to comply with customs regulations, and Vietnam Discovery Tourism & Trading Co., Ltd is not responsible for any penalties resulting from non-compliance.
Theft or loss of customers’ valuables due to customer negligence is not the responsibility of Vietnam Discovery Tourism & Trading Co., Ltd.
The company reserves the right to substitute hotels, flights, or cruise ships, alter itineraries, or cancel tours before departure. In case of tour cancellation by Vietnam Discovery Tourism & Trading Co., Ltd, clients are entitled to a full refund.
Certain tour activities involve risks, such as boarding boats or climbing hills. While representatives provide assistance and advice, clients undertake these activities at their own risk. Vietnam Discovery Tourism & Trading Co., Ltd and its employees cannot be held responsible for events occurring after due care has been exercised.
The company reserves the right to modify or rescind these terms and conditions, either in part or entirely, at any time, with or without notice.
Modification or Discontinuance of Service:
Vietnam Discovery Tourism & Trading Co., Ltd reserves the right to modify or discontinue service to clients who engage in illegal or objectionable behavior toward its employees and agents. Offensive behavior includes actions that are obscene, racially offensive, or of a sexual nature.
a. Deposit: A deposit of 50% of the total value, payable by credit card or bank transfer plus processing fees, is required upon booking confirmation. For amounts less than US$500, full payment before arrival is suggested. Receipt of the deposit indicates acceptance of all Terms and Conditions.
b. Remainder Balance: The remaining 50% of the tour value must be paid at least 15 days before arrival in Vietnam.
c. Full Payment: Full payment is required for bookings confirmed less than one month before the departure date.
Cancellations & Refunds for Booking Cruise in Halong Bay Only:
– Cancellation by Customer:
– More than 30 days before trip commencement: 20% of total trip cost
– 15 to 30 days before trip commencement: 50% of total trip cost
– 7 to 14 days before trip commencement: 75% of total trip cost
– No refunds for cancellations within 7 days of trip commencement.
– Cancellation by Vietnam Discovery Tourism & Trading Co., Ltd:
– Cancellation due to force majeure, political, health, or natural disaster reasons will result in full reimbursement to registrants, without any compensation claims.
Transfer for Booking Cruise Halong Only:
– For shuttle bus transfers, clients must adhere to agreed-upon times communicated via email or phone. Late arrivals will not be accommodated, and clients are responsible for any delays.
– If changing hotels, clients must inform Vietnam Discovery Tourism & Trading Co., Ltd promptly to adjust pickup locations. Failure to communicate changes will result in client responsibility for any inconvenience caused.
